Podiatry / Chiropody:
If you are registered with a Nottingham City GP and are eligible for podiatry services, you can access the community podiatry service through referral by your GP practice or self-referral. The service is to help people with diseases and conditions affecting the feet and lower limbs. This is also to help patients manage their conditions through treatment, prevention and education.

Nottinghamshire Fit for Work Service and Ingeus, Nottingham
For people who are employed but off work due to health issues or who are attending work but struggling to manage their own health, in Nottingham.
A service provided to tailor a programme around the needs of the individual to help them deal with their health issue within their work life. After an initial meeting with a qualified healthcare professional, a tailor-made programme is arranged for people which may include the following courses:
- understanding health and wellbeing
- work-life balance
- managing your mood
- managing stress and anxiety
- coping strategies
- sleep and routine
- healthy eating
- coping with pain
- back care and posture education
- exercises classes (e.g. Pilates, relaxation)
- future planning to manage health in the workplace.

NHS e-Referral Tracking
If your doctor has referred you to a specialist for further care you will be asked to book your appointment using the ‘NHS e-Referral’ system.
You will receive a letter from us within 2 weeks giving details of how to book your appointment and any passwords you may need.
To track your e-Referral you will need the following details to log into the e-Referral website:
- Your date of birth
- Reference number – this will be on the first page of your letter
- Password – this will be on the second page of your letter
